    I'm so happy for Manny Pacquaio. He deserves all the accolades he gets. I'll gladly accept him as one of the greatest ever once he retires from the sport.

    Pac was already the best P4P fighter in the world, but after last nights fight, theres no single doubt that he's not.. Truly a top ATG and the best fighter this generation as seen if you ask me..

    PBF maybe could, Marquez maybe could but now I wouldn't be confident, Nate Campbell could not, and I don't think Hatton could either.

    As long as Pac doesn't start thinking he could beat Margarito or someone that size, I can't see anyone out there beating him. The guy is a machine.

    I have Manny p4p #1, but I'm not sure he wins a belt at 140 or 147. he has to beat some bad dudes to get a belt there. Hatton, Margarito, Cotto, Berto, etc....

    PacDBest actually predicted a Pac win over DLH way before anyone else.. Before Merchant and before the Diaz fight and everyone called him crazy and a troll.. He ever predicted wins against Hatton and PBF in the future.. As much as nobody really liked him, he basically proved everyone wrong..

    Well he picks Pacman to win every fight (hence his screen name)...And if you say it's going to rain everyday, your likely to be right once in awhile...

    People go on about the speed, but speed alone doesn't make a great fighter. Look at Judah and Khan, for example.

    The very best fighters are the ones that tie various elements together. Pac, for example, not only has the speed but also power, a great chin, stamina, heart/determination, a top trainer like Roach, effective bobbing and weaving, a tight Tyson-esque 'peeking' guard that keeps him nice and compact, invaluable experience against monsters like Morales, Barrera, Marquez, etc.

    That being said, I think he'll beat Hatton. Against Mayweather...now that's the hard one to pick.

    So you think that believing Pac would definitely beat Nate Campbell is a lack of common sense?? I don't really understand that. I think Pac would slaughter him. To me that's perfectly common sense.

    Hatton and Pac would be a better fight, but I just cannot see Hatton dealing with Pacquiao's speed, Hatton doesn't have a good defence or a great jab, he wouldn't be able to stop Pac raining in the punches on the outside, and Pac would shock Hatton on the inside too, Manny can fight like a demon in there. I don't see Hatton having the speed, the chin, or the sheer ferocity to stay with Manny for 12 furious rounds.

    Mannys win is great for his legacy, he will have done his standing on all time lists the power of good, but as most boxing fans now know - 35 year old DLH was completely SHOT , i have to give credit to Manny for winning this fight, Pacmans win is very similar to Calzaghe's win over Jones, although Calzaghe and Jones were similar ages, and Manny was 6 years younger than DLH, also DLH poved to be more SHOT than RJJ, when going into the fights most people thought that RJJ was more SHOT than DLH, this was not the case.
    If RJJ fights again, he wins {unless its against a top 5 opponent in his weight class}
    If DLH fights again, he losses {unless its against a golden oldie or a total bum}
    So well done Manny but next time pick on somebody less SHOT and your own age, your last two stand out wins was also against old foggies, JM Marquez is 35 and Barrera is 34.

    TRAMPIE - please stop clogging up my threads with your worthlessly shite and biased opinions.

    Pac's win over DLH is worth so so much more than Calzaghe's over Jones, only a helpless ****** would even attempt to compare the two.

    JM Marquez is an "old foggie"? **** off mate seriously, go back to your own shite threads.

    In Oscar's last 2 fights, he took the undisputed world pound-for-pound number 1 to an SD then beat Forbes arguably more comfortably than Berto did in Forbes's next fight - and Berto is supposed to be the next big thing at 147.

    There was no real hard evidence that Oscar was shot going into the fight last night - not like RJJ getting sparked cold by guys he would have annihilated in his prime, guys nowhere near the p4p class of the guys Oscar has lost to, and then dropping down a level (or two) to fight non top 10 ranked guys like Prince Nobody, Hanshaw (stopped in 4 or 5 rounds in his next fight after Jones outpointed him) or a horribly rusty, overweight and shot-to-**** Tito Trinidad. The Oscar who fought Floyd and Forbes is a far better fighter than the Jones who fought Hanshaw and Trinidad, that should be obvious if you take the blinkers off.

    Manny Pacquiao jumped TWO weight divisions to fight Oscar, a former flyweight world champ (112lbs) fighting a former middleweight champ (160lbs).

    Pacquiao's win over Oscar is one of the best victories in recent years, Calzaghe slapping around the corpse of Roy Jones was a shameful sham of a fight.

    The two wins could not be further apart in value.
