In Oscar's last 2 fights, he took the undisputed world pound-for-pound number 1 to an SD then beat Forbes arguably more comfortably than Berto did in Forbes's next fight - and Berto is supposed to be the next big thing at 147.

There was no real hard evidence that Oscar was shot going into the fight last night - not like RJJ getting sparked cold by guys he would have annihilated in his prime, guys nowhere near the p4p class of the guys Oscar has lost to, and then dropping down a level (or two) to fight non top 10 ranked guys like Prince Nobody, Hanshaw (stopped in 4 or 5 rounds in his next fight after Jones outpointed him) or a horribly rusty, overweight and shot-to-**** Tito Trinidad. The Oscar who fought Floyd and Forbes is a far better fighter than the Jones who fought Hanshaw and Trinidad, that should be obvious if you take the blinkers off.

Manny Pacquiao jumped TWO weight divisions to fight Oscar, a former flyweight world champ (112lbs) fighting a former middleweight champ (160lbs).

Pacquiao's win over Oscar is one of the best victories in recent years, Calzaghe slapping around the corpse of Roy Jones was a shameful sham of a fight.

The two wins could not be further apart in value.

Was there ever any doubt after PBF retired?

Only a fool would have said otherwise, no doubt nitpicking at the contentious JMM decision.

Pac is a little phenom and proved me wrong big time on Saturday.

I would love to see a fight with PBF.

It's not going to get any less funny if you continue to post comparisons of the two wins after saying "only a helpless ****** would even attempt to compare the two" :rofl

Whats the problem 'JOCK' truth hurts does it ?, you are always saying Calzaghe's resume is weak, Manny's is not too clever when you pull it apart either is it ? - 3 losses, 2 draws, a split decision that could have gone the other way ?, recent fights against old men ? {DLH 35,JMM 35, Barrera 34, when Manny is only in his late twenties} and early fights on his resume against absolute rubbish.
You criticize Joe Calzaghe, yet when a boxer you like has a similar win, finds himself in a similar position to Calzaghe you refuse to use the same logic when analyzing ? You are a total HATER ! therefore your threads can not be taken seriously !
I for one think that Manny is excellent and Joe is excellent ? i give credit too both boxers for their performances, recent records and overall resume.
If you think that Manny is P4P number 1 and Joe is not, thats fine, but unfortunately most of your threads strongly imply that Manny is great and Joe is ****, this does you no favours with the more serious posters on here ! , try not to be one eyed, give credit where credit is due, otherwise you will never get the respect i know you crave on here.
    {please boys rank these boxers for me, as i can't think for myself as i am trying to compile an ATG list - PATHETIC}

 OK, I get it now :patsch A rather humorous error from yours truly. What I should have said was only a helpless ****** would say they were comparable in quality.

He didn't get a belt last night. So the 2 he needs to get 7 are 140 against Hatton, and then go for a 147 belt holder like Berto.

Jones was 39 and had been KTFO back to back by Tarver & Johnson. DLH gets SD with PBF and KTFO Mayorga. There in lies the difference.

For your info, Pac beat Morales when he was 29 and MAB when he was 29 first time. Joe beats Eubank when he was 33(?) and Hopkins 43, Jones 39! 3 of his biggest wins.

You simply see what you want to see being a HUGE Calzaghe nuthugger that you are...you felt the need to somehow defend you're Italian Welshman from taking a hit on his greatness and possibly being placed at no.3 (under JMM and Pac) because of the fact that his accomplishments fall short of Pac...and now possibly JMM

Dinamita has already told you the reasons as to why the comparisons between the fight of Roy vs. Joe was NOWHERE near the same as Pac vs. Oscar

You fired back with a rebuttal that carried no sense of argument, name calling and ridiculous rhetoric...

    You my friend...

I'll correct you tomorrow as I have to log off now with regards to the rest of that typically poor post, but as for the last quip, I wrote my own p4p top 50 which as I'm sure anyone who read it will verify, was indeed my own thoughts and opinions which I explained and justified for pages against many comments and criticisms. Rating and ranking boxers, especially those from different eras and weight classes, is a very difficult thing to do, and sometimes it helps you to discuss these decisions with other knowledgable fans, so you get a good spread of opinion and sometimes learn some things even you didn't know. Discussing and debating is how you learn. The fact that you think that is worthy of ridicule only confirms what a bumbling idiot you are - though this has already been exposed through the rest of your posting. :hi:

What a way to log off - seeing the sensible minds of the forum unite against a silly little Calzaghe cumguzzler. Superb. Good night gentlemen!

you're bias is reflected and "exposed" through your clever downplay and **** comparison of Pac's dominance of DLH to Calzaghe's win over RJJ...

I mean Calzaghe was PUT ON THE CANVAS! for ****'s sake...I don't remember DLH landing ANYTHING of significance in that fight...AT ALL!
