There is no explanation for this statistic other than Bowe had a bad chin and Futch knew it

lol. Lewis couldn't knock out Tony Tuckers shadow in 1993. He was too raw and under developed to beat Bowe then and he knew it which is he avoided the fight.

Read my post again. Notice my use of the words "a really good chance" meaning that yes while those elite Punchers could KO just about anyone or anything, the chance of, for example, Tyson's left hook or overhand right knocking out Bowe is probably alot higher than it knocking out Oliver McCall, based on Bowe having been knocked silly for several minutes by a left hook from a Holyfield who had been inexplicably gassed out and on the verge of passing out since the second or third round.

Does that make sense to you now?
How many times did you see mike Tyson the guy with one of the most agressive, risky styles in history do a chicken dance from a Tyrell Biggs level puncher? Or go down like he got shot in the head while dominating a fight vs a 30lb lighter opponent who was gasping for breath?
And Tyson's chin wasn't even the best of his era.

What about Foreman? You wanna say Bowe was supposedly sooo shot or soooo fat......George was damn near 50 and took shots from Shannon Briggs and Moorer like they were nothing.

Bowe never even attempted to take the shots of a Bruno, ruddock or tua like Lewis did. So I don't really see how Bowe has a better chin. There is 0 evidence for that. They have Biggs and Holyfield in common and they both hurt Bowe worse. Golota hurt Bowe worse than Vitali hurt Lewis. You can't even compare their records vs really big Punchers because Bowe didn't fight any of those that Lewis fought

Bowe couldn't have been that hurt from the Holyfield hook , cos he got right back up and wiped Holyfield out within seconds.
A weak chinned fighter would need time to recover or hold on to get the legs back , but Bowe didn't have to do either.

A faded Holy who wasn't hitting as hard in 1999 hit Lewis with the same shot , and while Lewis didn't go down , he was slouched into the ropes tucking up taking time to recover as he was clearly hurt.

Fighters have been more hurt standing up than sitting on the canvas. Getting floored , getting back up and winning by stoppage means you have a good chin , not a bad/suspect chin.

Roddock was finished after the savage back to back wars with Tyson.

When was the last time you saw the 3rd holyfield fight? Did you see it at all or just the highlights?
Between round 5 and 6 the doctor threatened to stop the fight.
Holyfield knocked him down in the beginning of the 6th
Bowe was stuck in the corner for almost the rest of the round, completely out of it with Holyfield breathing heavy and looking at him. it was bizarre. Neither one threw or landed anything for the rest of the round.
Bowe knocked him out in the 8th bro.

Actually I'm pretty sure you never saw the fight.
George Foreman was yelling for the fight to be stopped because he thought Holyfield Had a heart attack, Larry merchant said Holyfield didnt didnt look 33 but more like 53. People were really scared for his health because it was only a year after the false alarm over his heart in the moorer fight.

It ready looked like the EX HW champ of the world was going to collapse from a coronary on live TV. It was even more worrying when he miraculously knocked Bowe down but didn't follow up withANYTHING.

AND NOBODY WHO ACTUALLY SAW THE FIGHT WOULD EVER EVER EVER FORGET!!!

You're right , I haven't seen the fight in a long time , but upon reviewing the footage it appears that you and I were both wrong.
Vander did follow up with an attack after flooring Bowe , left hooks , right hands all connecting on Bowes head ,yet you typed in CAPITALS that he followed up with nothing. So my guess is you'RE the guy that watches the highlight reels instead of the full fights , because Vander trying to get Bowe out of there couldn't be any more clear to the viewer

What? He lands one right hand in the corner thats it. He then looks at Bowe for about a minute and Bowe looks back at him, completely legless. It was the beginning of the round but he was gassed!

Have you seen the type of barrage a healthy evander attacks hurt fighters with?

Have you seen the chopping hooks / uppercuts Bowe was ripping into Vanders head and body in the rounds prior?

What do you think the effect of taking that type constant punishment from a 250lbs power house would look like? Visions of a man suffering form cardiac arrest perhaps?

Oh come on. I wouldnt even buy that if the 3rd Bowe fight was the only Holyfield fight i had seen in my life.

You domt even believe that yourself. If you do, then lets just leave it at that because there is no common ground.

There was obviously something wrong with him that had nothing to do with bowe. Weve seen holyfield take alot of beatings and that was something else.
And if it was all Bowe who had weaken evander that badly, then it makes his chin look even worse that he got decked by evander in a way he didnt do with any other relevant HW.

You must be the biggest Bowe fan of all time if you cant tell evander was obviously ill and couldnt catch a breath.

I mean all you gotta do is look at the first fight that evander was also taking a beating in and see that that wasnt the problem in the 3rd fight.

He ducked Lewis because he had a questionable chin and Lennox beat him up in their previous match up. Just the facts.
