    Because he knows Canelo is easy work.

    Jacobs fight was just a bait and Canelo bit on it. Golovkin KDs Jacobs in the fourth and all of a sudden pumps the breaks? Doesn't make sense for a closer such as Golovkin.

    Knowing your opponents promoters owns the state athletic commission where you are fighting probably has something to do with that.

    It's actually really sad tbh. Abel Sanchez has made Golovkin stiff and generally worse. Abel's fighters won't age well, I can tell you that.

    I would be pleasantly surprised, yet still surprised if Golovkin beats Canelo.

    Because GBP kept obfuscating, putting road blocks in place to delay the fight. having an athletic commission in your pocket is great but it also helps if you time a fight where the career trajectories of each boxers are closer to a point of intersection.

    It's always funny when those who aren't very bright and have little knowledge of psychology make these kind of bold claims. "Oh, he's mentally beaten" "He's gotten under his skin""he has no hunger" "He looked shook in the staredown" etc.
