None! Even with close decisions with Castillo and DLH there is still no blueprint to beat Floyd. I do see some weakness that can be exploited in regards to the undefeated P4P fighter of the century. Miguel Cotto is very keen and he likes to target weakened areas of his opponents body like he did with Marg. He sees the rib poking out of Floyd's side. I feel that he will target that rib and one well placed right hook could end the fight.
I propose that the word 'remedy' be removed from this thread as it is confusing those posters that have a better-than-mediocre understanding of the English language. May I suggest replacing it with 'formula' or possibly even 'blueprint'?
There is definately no simple formula. Floyd is so effective defensively that it makes it very difficult to outpoint him. Especially given his workrate, accuracy and stamina. I would like to see a fighter with good punching power go after him aggresively, with the intention of ending it inside of for or five rounds. He has shown that he is not immune to being rocked by solid cracks. If Floyd's not on the canvass by then, he probably has the fight won anyway. Not many guys out there though who have the power and skill level required to catch him enough in the early rounds without being counterpunched to oblivian. Maybe someone like Alvarez would stand a chance?
