Tyson-McBride is sad, especially seeing Mike come out for the 6th round...drenched in water and sweat, face scrunched up, biting his gloves in nervous energy. Watching Holyfield fighting Toney, Donald and Ibragimov was pretty damn desperate. Even more so when he's bouncing up and down on his toes, giving off the impression he's full of beans, when you know damn well he's frustrated and can't get his shots off.
just watched it on youtube (avoided this fight like the aids virus when it first happened, as I thought Tyson was WAAAAAAAAAY beyond prime) Jesus he took a beating in that round
True.... plus there are many "sports" which are more cruel than boxing....just ask RJJ or former G-Man himself.... both got fuced up in the ring (to a certain extent)....but both enjoyed those other much more cruel sports - cockfighting and dog fighting... in the case of G-Man he would put defensless (muzzled labradors) dogs in with his fighter pitbulls... So I think Kellerman should say it how it is or STFU
The Morales fight killed me. Starting with the Raheem fight. He just was not the same. The 3rd Pac fight and the Diaz fight killed me. Looking at a warrior say No Mas. When i saw him look at his corner i got emotional.
you are an idiot. Hes not talking physically...hes talking about the emotional wear and tear on the fighters and their fans.....If he were talking the way you thought he was Im sure he would have said "Boxing is cruel, but russian roulette is the cruelest sport ever". If you are still having a had time understanding what im talking about, read what people have been writing about, on their fighters losing a step and it showing in their skills and how painfull it is to watch.
Sam a me, i was at a bar wtahcing it filled with Filo's and i was basicallt the only Morales supporter there, when eh went down the place was cheering, i was like:?
I remember watching Wlad getting ko'ed by Brewster. I thought that his career was over. That was the worst fight I've seen.
Tyson/McBride and Tyson/Williams I felt really sad. When Gatti got beat by someone named Alfonso Gomez, I felt sad too. And I am no Chris Byrd fan, but watching him get destroyed by Shaun friggin George was also pretty sad. The thing is, guys shouldn't continue fighting even after they become shot. I am really worried about all this Holyfield/Valuev thing, I gotta admit.
Morales getting stopped is sad like other people have said along with a couple others. Looking back at Ali vs Holmes makes me feel depressed to but the day when Israel Vazquez or Sugar Shane Mosley are stopped im going to be extremely sad
don curry's last 2 fights, when he got ko'ed by terry norris and michael nunn just like in the calzaghe-jones fight, you saw glimpses of the old brilliance but in the end it was just sad
Seeing Whitaker get beat by Tito hurt, as well as Whitaker having to quit early against Carlos Bojorquez. I know it happened because of an injury but I knew it was all over.
