That's a pretty crappy rating system if I ever saw one :huh

There'd only be a small handful, if that of A level fighters in any era.

You are presuming people use only technical criteria to judge a level. For me it takes everything into account, technically, physically and intangibles. Of course we underestimate/overestimate guys levels at times, but there are levels otherwise every fight is a pick'em, which is plainly not the case.

Of course there's such thing as levels you dumb ****. I would class Margarito as a B+ level fighter, this doesn't mean he's incapable of beating A level fighters and doesn't mean he's not world class, it means I don't class him as elite and an A level fighter, an elite fighter, with the right style will always beat him.

I divide fighters my own way. Elite, top 10, and everyone else.

There are only 3 elite fighters today: Pacman, Mayweather, and Calzaghe.

A top 10 fighter: Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Marquez, Casamayor, Judah, Mosley, DLH, etc.

    Everyone else is a journeyman.

Tyson used his jab quite often, but obviously it wasn't going to be his primary weapon due to his height. When people say things like A level, B level for skill level it has to do with defense, offense, punching ability, physical ability etc. etc.

Why didn't you say it then?

I love Kenny, in my view he was a great great fighter. But to me A level is the best of the best like Ali or Tyson.

That's kinda silly, because an A level would have to be performing at something near ATG level.

    A levels are elite fighters.

See, steak may be elite meat, but to me it's not A level unless it's Kobe.
