I dont know about all that Thread starter. One fan can easily take on mutiple fighters to follow. Its not a big deal. I've seen Williams fight about 7 times and was a fan of his, on DAY ONE .

im a fan of paul and did not care about margo to much, i heard the storys about him but for me to join a bandwagon you have to be a monster in the ring with good comp not bums.the things i heard about margo and then looked at his resume i was like man what ever i will believe when he fights some one good.

i did the same thing with cotto, he did not get my full respect until he beat judah.paul showed why he is the most feared guy in the welter weights if there is a such thing as one.margo to me was never the beast he was made out to be i found him grossley overrated.

so its either margo was never that beasty or he was a beast and just ran into a monster in williams.take your pic i dont care but i know its one of the two.

Before this fight I didnt really care for either guy, I definitely like Williams now. He is an overwhelming fighter with a great work rate (105 punches per round average).

I think he was landing more than that but still I understand what your saying but at the end of the day its not the damage that is counted but the punches landed. Did you dissagree with the scoring of the fight? I thoug 2 judges had it dead on giving the last round to Williams to make it 7 rounds to 5.

It certainly matters when the other guy is throwing 40 and landing 4. Margarito was outlanded in nearly every round. Now in some of those rounds towards the end, he got outlanded but it was close and he had the more telling shots. I gave those rounds to him. But there were some rounds where Williams, while unable to hurt Margarito, was landing so good hard combos that was snapping the head back.
