There is no way Alexander Povetkin loses this fight in Russia

  1. Regardless of his performance (excluding getting knocked out cold), I don’t see Takam getting a fair shake on the score cards (especially in Russia vs. Sasha).
And as it pertains to Takam: Knocking out Michael Grant tells me nothing, and his fight vs. Mike Perez was after the tragic Mogo fight, thus I don’t know if we were seeing 100% of Perez that night (and as time has passed, I don’t know if Perez is as good as I originally thought. He certainly is not the guy I saw run through the ‘prize fighter’ tournament a few years back, and his fights with Jennings and Takam showed that he can be out-hustled/outworked at times).
Thus his only chance of winning, which is by knockout, seems to be a long-shot at best.
