Pac's power at 147 and above is defined by:

    1. 1 TKO vs ODLH (hardly a measure of power though, more so speed)
    2. 2 KD's and a TKO vs Cotto (KD's are pretty impressive, but it was the angles that did the job, TKO however was because of volume)
    3. What should've been a TKO vs Margarito (wobbling Margarito is an achievement by itself, but again this is mostly because of cuts, i.e. volume)
    4. KD of Mosely (granted Mosley might've been old and shot to ****, but since he hasn't really gone down except against Forrest, this has much question marks in it)
    5. KD of JMM (a very solid lead left that sent JMM touching the canvass, just raw speed and timing here, BUT you can argue that JMM isn't really a WW like Pac is really just a small WW, and he got KD'd by legit WW like FMJ too)

So if we will look at above, with the exception of slow Margarito, much of the wobbles, KD's and TKO's of Pac's in WW and above happened because of:

    1. Pac's speed and timing, coupled with angles
    3. Pac's volume punching

So really, I don't see Pac having brick hands ala Duran, but rather, it's because of the speed in his punches (impact force is a measure of mass and momentum), Pac's timing (Pac has very underrated timing) and the angles that he creates with his punches that make his opponents go down at WW.

You forgot to notice that the Pac that got put to sleep also did this:

    http://contents.spin.ph/image/MP-JMM-i.jpg

And made JMM's face look like this:
    http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/i...res-158016492_crop_north.jpg?w=650&h=440&q=75

Pac's defense was the loophole that JMM took advantage of.
He was extremely precise on his last encounter against JMM, as is evidenced by his KD of JMM and the bloodied mess that he created out of JMM's nose as I posted above.

You seem to think that JMM just won over some c class fighter where in fact, he was in the ring with an elite like himself, getting beat, only to turn the tide around with a monster right.
    You disrespect JMM's win, TBH.

    YDKSAB.

The Marquez KD was a result of their feet getting tangled up. That was NOT a legit KD.

Pacquiao doesn't have any meaningful KDs since the Cotto fight..

You mean to say that the lead left did not connect and JMM would've gone down either way?

    Again, YDKSAB.

    "Not a legit KD". LOL.
You make it painfully obvious that you never got into the ring.

What the hell is wrong with you *******s?

First and foremost, the Marquez KD was NOT a legit KD. Marquez was tripped. Remove your head from your ass then go back and look at the tape.

Second, the Marquez broken nose came as the result of a straight Pacquiao left hand that landed flush on his face. This is the same punch that used to put guys to sleep. Pacquiao landed that punch flush on Marquez a few times and yet Marquez kept on coming.

    I wonder why?

Face it *******s - your hero, who is 0-3 in his last three fights, is in decline. The end is near...

So much stupidity in one post that I care to reply.

Apparently, throwing a precise counter that your opponent didn't see coming, hitting him flush in the face, making your opponent get taken aback and ultimately making the gloves of your opponent touch the ground as a result, is not a legit KD.

Go ahead and make a petition to make round 5 a 10-9 round please. Or better yet, make it 10-9 in favor of JMM "since he kept on coming".

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

    You are such a joke.

    Lol.

You *******s never cease to amaze or entertain.

At the end of the day, how you scored the 5th round is *irrelevant*.

    Why, you ask?

    JMM KTFO6 Pacquiao

    Deal with it...

Yep, that's no legit KD. That's a trip.
Good eye you got there. :rofl :rofl :rofl

    Knockdown

A knockdown occurs when a boxer, after being hit by his opponent:
    1) touches the ring floor with some part of his body other than the feet;
    2) has any part of his body outside the ropes;
    3) is hanging on the ropes helplessly; or
    4) is judged to be in a semi-conscious state and unable to continue fighting.

And again, let me just check 5:22 of ths clip right here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WLvSdt0avQ

    Ahhh, you are right.
I don't see any part of Pac's gloves hitting JMM flush in the face and surely JMM didn't get out of balanced because of it.
Pac hit air because JMM, being the god that he is, moved his head out of the path and unfortunately Pac, the unsportsmanlike fellow that he is, saw this and tripped JMM instead to score a, what most definitely is NOT legit, knockdown.

Good call Nay_Sayer. I admit to be on the wrong here. :yep

Rios has durability. This will give him a chance to crack something on Pac. If Pac can take Rios best shots, this is going to be a really bad night for Rios. On the other hand, Rios may be able to end this mid fight.

Either way, this is one fight I can't see going 12 rounds. Rios must believe he has a chance, and a guy with his durability and power is always dangerous.

Rios has been hurt by lesser fighters than Pac and taking tons of shots flush with no D leads to stoppages. Rios is far too limited to do anything to Pacquaio and is going to get carved up. Stoppages also happen on damage and Rios is flat footed and absorbs full impact with his face.

He has a good chin, but he doesn't have a Margarito like chin.

I got news for you Rios doesnt posses skill or speed to land anything HARD on Pac, Pac will get in land 3 4 shot combination and get out all night and all Rios can do is cover up, it will be something like Pac vs Clottey!:good
