Maybe, too bad Margarito didn't push for the rematch.

How about you go and ask around on ESB, how about you watch the pre fight interviews when everyone was saying Hatton by KO if a KO happens

Wow -- a lot of people still seriously underestimate Tony. He can hold his own with any current welter, and he might kill poor delusional little pacman.

Who says the only way to beat him is to throw something at him that will stop him from coming forward?

Floyd can, and imo will, beat him the same way he beat almost all of his opponents.

floyd was chomping at the bit to get his hands on the totally shot Gatti.

floyd has been outright avoiding Margarito for two years now with more different excuses than anyone can count, to the point where he even went into a fraud retirement to avoid him some more. to conclude floyd could beat Margarito as he did Gatti is simply deranged optimism, sort of like picking Peter over Vitali or Tyson over Lewis.

But the fight will never happen - unless Margarito shows rapid decline or vulnerability, only then will floyd show any interest to make the fight.

Clottey and Cotto could beat him but obviously they need more than 1 try.

    1. Learn the boxers in the division. Floyd is a retired boxer. Hatton is a Jr. welterweight, and Pacquiao is a lightweight that beat a weightdrain past his prime DelaHoya.
    2. Margarito was already beaten at 147lbs. Check his record!
