    The Plant fight will be close imo. People are underrating Plant imo, I can definitely see Plant having success.

    Great minds think alike because I have as well. With that said I think Benavidez if he stayed at 168 would give him a great fight.

    Benavidez would make a good fight and unlike Canelo's opponent tonight would be there to win.

    Didn't mean to refer to them as cherry picks, they are all good wins but none of those fights excite me because 1.Charlo and Saunders aren't going to win I'm pretty sure about that.
    2. Plant and Andrade haven't fought anybody to show me anything that would get me excited. If they beat a name fighter in style then sure but so far neither of them have really done that much. For instance if Andrade whips Saunders then yeah I would be down for Canelo andrade

    Bivol has the style, youth and the speed
    Beterbiev is just an absolute animal
    Ward has the credentials and the name

    Agreed. Spence is kidding himself saying he wants the fight at 160. Based on their last performances I see Canelo walking right through him and smashing him within 5 rounds.

    The Canelo strategy from what I've observed is to drift up into higher weight classes where he has the speed and technique advantage against bigger fighters. Whereas down at 147 or 154 other fighters have the skill to match up with him.

    Sounds like he wants to unify 168 at the moment because its easy pickings against Saunders and Plant. 175 not so much at the moment with Beterbiev. Wait out Beterbiev or fight him when he's on the decline.

    I think Canelo is done in general with the welterweights. Guys who counter and throw back. Who are in there not because they are a physical specimen but really know how to box like Floyd Mayweather. He doesn't want any part of that.

    Canelo should fight one more top guy at 168 in Plant, Saunders, or Benavidez. If the fight is as one sided as it was tonight he should test himself against a prime 175 fighter. preferable Bivol. Bivol is a legit 175 but also isn't as physically imposing as Beterbiev. A fight against Beterbiev would interest me but if it comes down to Beterbiev just mauling the undersized fighter than it could hurt the sport more than help if he scares off other fighters from challenging themselves like Canelo has.

    Canelo vs Bivol would be one of the best wins of a generation if Canelo could pull it off.

    Canelo just made history and further separated himself from GGG on the ATG ranking list. GGG isn't even on it.
