There is one thing about Povetkin that people forget

He's got pretty good skills since amateur days.

He was skinny guy back then with small arms but hit pretty hard for a guy built like him.

He has improved as a pro mainly in power/strength departments

 

he has all the ability going which just underlines what an idiot he must be.

 

His skill level is unquestionable. Nobody forgets that and if he was clean he would be a serious threat to all the other top boys in the division. But he is still a massive cheat who should be banned.

 

What happened when journey fighters Corrie Sanders and Ross Purrity fought Wladimir Klitschko? They knocked him out. Sanders in only 4 minutes. What happened to Povetkin when he fought a passive aggressive version of Wlad? He got his butt kicked. Povetkin isn't that good of a fighter.

 

Povetkin is an excellent fighter. His record is undefeated except for a loss to the most dominant fighter of the last decade, and I love his all-action style.

That said, getting bust for peds a second time has made me wonder how much of his success was due to them.

Wladimir Klitschko will beat Corrie Sanders and purrity 8/10 times . Povetkin fought a much more cautious and prepared Wlad, you cannot use these comparisons as they make little sense, if Wlad was careless his jaw would have shattered from a Povetkin's Tsar bombs.

 

I think we should let Povetkin do all the drugs he wants to and lets see if he gets better than he already is so as we can solve this blame game once and for all.
