Is his chin pure glass or grade A china?

In case you don't know, he got knocked down tonight by an arm punch. His legs weren't there for maybe 20 seconds, either.

Gomez ain't a feather-fisted guy, mind you. No Mike Tyson but still a good hitter.

No doubts that Khan's chin is his biggest problem though.

An arm punch by a DOMESTIC puncher at 130 pounds, who was shot and had no power at 135 or so.

Yet some of the Khan fans say he's fought some real competition like Gamboa has? Gomez was nothing at this point, a shot glass jawed domestic level brawler with no power at 135.

Grade A china, wake up people, Khan will amount to nothing, been saying it since 2005 as well.:good

I had a tiny bit of hope prior to tonight, but I'm done.

it was really a flash knockdown, if even that, and he arguably won the round.

So he might have a weak chin but he can still make some noise. His inside game is not very good and he needs to learn how to clinch.

Gamboa would have done Gomez in round 1 or 2 at 130, even at a smaller size than Khan.

Khan should not rush into a fight with Casamayor, Campbell or Pacquiao. He needs a little more seasoning.

How exiting would a Katsidis - Khan fight be? I'd pick the Aussie to KO Amir but it would be fun while it lasts.

And everyone is banking on the possibility of Gamboa to get KO'd just because he fights with his hands down? The fact that he has almost 500 fights since his amateurs proves only 1 thing: The ****'n Cuban has a massive chin. You're always going to get decked in a fight with your hands down like that, he is a beast and Gamboa will prove it.

Gomez had power, yes, but he looked so slow tonight, I'm not sure how much strength his punches were carrying. Anyway, it was an arm punch. The same kind of shot which has been bouncing of his opponents jaws for the majority of his career. Khan couldn't take it.

His body was suspiciously weak too. He got hit with a good body shot, but it took him ages to recuperate. When he knocked Gomez down with a body shot, as he went to finish him off, he got him with another and he did **** all and couldn't capitalise.

I'm gonna go with grade A china, by the way.

Wow, thats like a deja vu statement that was being thrown around here when Gamboa got hit by a very solid punch, behind the ear, and it was a REAL flash knockdown, and Gamboa's legs were 100% solid even then. He arguably won the round aside from that weird punch that Jimenez landed.

Well if he needs to learn to clinch he should probably train with Ricky "hook and hold" Hatton

True but that kind of punch shouldn't be knocking any serious contender down. His legs also looked weak for a long time afterwords.
