Who cares about personalities? I'm a boxing fan, not a WWE fan. All that matters is what happens in the ring.

Parker has no momentum. He looked like **** in his last 3 fights.

Its because there's no street attitude and no ****** business trying to get under each others skin. There would be if Joshua was to be himself, but he would lose half his fan base so he's following the script, plus Parker's a gentleman sportsman so Joshua would look a tool...War Parker

There's two types of boxing fans, those that enjoy the sport and those that enjoy the pantomime aspect. This fight is well set up for the first group, two prime unbeaten heavyweight world champions putting their belts and records on the line in front of a massive crowd. I'm one of the sporting fans so I'm really excited by the prospect!

It looks like you're part of the second group, which is fine, it's the larger of the two, but it does mean this is not the best contest for you. As you say neither of these guys are good pantomime material, AJ and Parker are quite similar, quiet, professional types who let their fists do the talking. If we were casting this as a pantomime we'd ideally like a different character in the opposite corner. Maybe a brash talking buffoon type or a heinous villain popping peds and cackling maniacally. Maybe they could wear a mask or devil horns. Perhaps have a kooky soundtrack so folks could boo them as they entered the ring. You know the sort of thing.

I find that side of boxing a little dull to be honest. It's a shame that you don't share my excitement and anticipation nonetheless. I'll try and write you a pantomime version later which may help you enjoy it a bit more :)

I would personally like AJ more if he was himself. This humble stuff is bull**** and anyone with a brain can see it. I want to see the nasty side of him more. It's much more compelling

That particular choice of presentational strategies wouldn't align with #insert major brand name here's brand values and would negatively impact our decision to partner with Anthony on forthcoming projects.

I'm excited about this fight. Parker seems genuinely motivated and confident. I believe his speed and toughness could cause Joshua problems and make for a good fight.

Wilder on the other hand is so over the top and cheesy that I don't take him seriously. There have been so many loud, brash types that I find them boring and/or annoying. I also don't think Wilder Vs AJ will be all that good a fight when it happens. Styles make fights and I think it will actually be quite boring apart from a very small period when one of them gets knocked out.

Not sure I'd agree really. I don't think it's as big as AJ v Klitschko but it definitely eclipses all the other AJ fights in terms of build up and suspense. It also eclipses Ortiz-Wilder if I'm honest

To you maybe. And you call it a bully pick? The rest of us call it a unification.

I would swap this snooze fest for Wilder-Fury in a hearbeat. It's a shame as AJ clearly would love to talk some serious trash, but he's such a corporate ho he has no choice but to be boring and say nothing.
