I agree with your first statement but I’ve sold this fight to most of my friends, who happen to be casual fans at the very best, so there’s definitely a lot at the core of this fight for legitimate fans of sports.

No, the answer adds drama because if Joshua makes the fight with Wilder, I’ll do a complete 360 change in talking about Joshua. Right now he’s a *** in my eyes.

Nah, i wouldn't question AJ's PED usage, I can tell just by looking at him.

I Just know "gypsy's" are scum. Simple.
He probably beat up a few people when money was owed, but dealers wouldn't waste there time on a £10er here and there from a kid. Its not in there interest when they can bring in a £1000 a week if you have good "clientele". I don't know many kids knocking up £100 debts with there local dealer, or they deserve a good smack for being an idiot. Its not like the movies.

I get more bored Wilder hitting Punching bags for each fight. Stiverne 2 was like watching a man swat a bee's nest.

What's missing is that Parker isn't that good. He doesn't seem like much of a threat.

It promised a bit of beef but that died out a bit even though Hearn has been trying to bring it back to life in the pressers. They have not been exciting, the gloves are off thing was a bit dull too. All very business like. But we can still feel the storm brewing. There may be words when they face up at the weigh in. Joshua looks like he is keeping his mouth in check but you can see all the taunts from Parkers camp are churning away. Saturday will give us all the excitment we need.

He wasn't the weed dealer to the stars mate. He was a scumbag street dealer selling draws to kids on the Meriden Estate. Beating up yutes for a score was his bread and butter.

"To the stars" - I wouldn't class Essex as stars but the few dealers i know make a nice hefty sum each week and rarely use "force" to get paid. I'm surprised none of this dirt has been taken to the papers as the "yutes" would make a killing.

There's nothing missing from this fight blizz.
2 undefeated champs in their 20's going at it. First HW unification in years, in front of 75,000 people.
    All the ingredients are there.

Problem is, Joe is just a regular guy. There's no pretence with him. Good for real life, not so good for promoting a big fight. Joshua, on the other hand, is a scripted personality projecting an image designed to deliver cross-over appeal.

Hearn worked this angle from the get-go and developed this 'inspirational bad boy made good' image to deal with the 'dealing', knowing in order to maximise profit they needed to front up over AJ's past and reinvent him. Matchroom have done this incredibly well, so-much-so the wider British sporting public lap it all up.

Now all we get is the preacher/life coach/philosopher persona, and it's an act, albeit AJ delivers it well. But we all know it's fake as ****.

All that leaves us with a nice guy with no 'edge' in one corner and an Oscar nominee in the other, the result of which is something rather drab and uninspiring.

i like the personality of both fighters / down to earth not acting flash

i cannot stand dereck chisoras antics throwing drinks in fighters faces
throwing tables being a drama queen.

if the boxer entertains me in the ring i am happy with that / if they are a **** outside the ring and talk **** i dont warm to them

i still like to watch them box / but does it add anything to a big boxing event
    imo no
