There is something wrong with our sport when Yildirim

Boxing is in a bad state right now. I don't even remember when I saw a boxing fight in the last year. They were stupid to cancel the Kovalev fight a couple of month ago.
I don't watch Canelo fights anymore because of his cheating.

 

After Canelo kovalev someone commented here that boxing was one step away from WWE, and every time I watch Canelo this feeling is reinforced.

These Canelo fights are taking the **** though, if the guy hits so hard that one or two early shots is making every fighter go completely into their shell, then why isn't he KOing everyone?

 

Canelo shouldn't be fighting chumps like that, but I don't have any problems with how much money the guy made

 

So you refuse to watch Canelo because he is a cheater, but you are upset they cancelled the Kovalev fight after he was caught cheating ?

 

You can spray lots of perfume on a turd, it doesn’t change what it is.

This one was a very bad matchup. Everyone knew it but Canelo fans will gladly overlook it because that’s what they do. Canelo wanted an easy victory after his last easy victory. Boxing is doing everything possible to ruin the sport and doing a great job with these types of mandatories. Better get a bigger bottle of perfume.

 

Yeah, I have no interest in watching some Canelo scam again.

 

Ever since Fielding, Canelos fights have been fishy to say the least. The Kovalev fight was just embarassing.. I can't believe Canelo has any fans after that, blind loyalty. . I'm tempted to not even bother watching the BJS fight because of his dodgy antics it's hard to tell what a real fight of his is now.

Gets old to hear that Canelo's counterpunching and head movement completely shuts down all these fighters yet I've seen guys with far better counterpunching and head movement get tagged consistently. None since Golovkin have actually come to win let's be real

 

I agree, in my mind I just don't think that one person can be so far ahead of everyone else to the extent that he now just walks everyone down and they all fold completely.

 

It's a disgrace when former sparring partners get in there just for a payday, not to put up a fight because they are already mentally beaten.

A fighter who comes to fight will show.

 

Canelo wanted an easy victory after his last easy victory all so he can another easy victory (168 Saunders aka Sandbag with those slow feet)

 

Boxing has been a business since its inception and the bigger draws always make more money since they are the profit generators, yildirim juts won the lottery thats all. the ABC organization not updating its rankings, favouring certain promoters ,etc? the same behavoiur they had since they were created, nothing new. Same with only a handful making great money and the rest peanuts, such is the nature of the sport.

 

No one said life was fair. If you're getting that kind of money you shouldn't quit in your corner after three rounds though.

 

Probably me But now anyone you ask, except true boxing fans will probably say boxing is just entertainment like the WWE & the fights are pre arranged & orchestrated like they are. Really who can blame them when they see fights like this & judges like the Vegas mafia. Boxing is at the lowest it has ever been due to the blatant corruption. Problem is people STILL buy the BS & $$$$$$$$ is all the state commissions care about. They'll overlook anything as long as it sells
