That's down to Khan absolutely detesting Eddie and Barry Hearn. You cannot be serious and think that Khan "avoided" Kell that badly that he went UP and fought CANELO WITHOUT A RE-HYDRATION CLAUSE, do you? Khan/McCloskey. Look at the build-up to that fight and how awful the Hearns came across towards Khan. No wonder he won't give them a pay day. Also, typical Brook if this falls through. He may as well retire. His record is shocking for that of a 12-13 year professional!
If you read my post you'd understand. Hypocrites like you sort of irritate me. Sorry I mean "part time business experts" like you sort of irritate me. Now, say what you like about me, I might be wrong, might be misinformed and I might be all the things anybody wishes to call me but I can't be called hypocritical and I am always consistent. What applies to one fighter must apply to another who does similar things. I have zero agenda :good
By the way I do agree with the title of the thread, Brook is a joke as far as I'm concerned and I think this will finish him at Matchroom. Hearn gets him a unification fight and I'm assume Brook was going to be paid well enough but it looks like Brooks ego can't handle Khan earning a lot of money in a huge fight, Eubank Jr about to earn a lot of money in a huge fight and himself in a unification fight for far less money with nobody really interested so I believe he has turned it down because he wanted big money. So it looks like Soto Karass or Old Man Shane Mosley will be getting a call soon I personally can't wait for one of those on a PPV with Brook
Stop talking out your ass and being so melodramatic. Point out where my hypocrisy lies in regards to Canelo/Brook. You're the one that brought that shi.t up. Damn drama queens.
So people are just assuming Brook has rejected the fight without any proof? Why not wait and see what actually happens first?
He convincingly beat Porter and then he was stabbed. He says he is back 100% but mentally he doesn't really believe it. The Brook who beat Porter would probably beat Thurman but that Brook may no longer exist if you know what I mean.
Brook is trying to get more money, and I say good on him. He is the one risking his life in the ring and he should get paid adequately.
By my 'ilk' you mean people who find it funny when devoted fanboys like you defend the indefensible? Next you'll be telling me that you 'don't F around'.
Boxers don't risk their lives in the ring. Maybe, one dies in the ring every year. More people die playing high school football or farming. Soldiers risk their lives, cops risk their lives, firefighters risk their lives, and none of them get paid like boxing stars. I had a dude come by to cut down a tall tree in my back yard the other day. Climbing fifty feet into the air with a chainsaw. Now, that's dangerous. More people die logging every year than any other job in America. Then comes fishing, aircraft pilots, and roofers. Being a cab driver or a convenience store clerk is more dangerous than being a boxer. Truck drivers, construction workers, garbage men, steel workers, power line repairmen, landscapers, mechanics, painters, and electricians all die way more often than boxers. Stop romanticizing these big babies.
