The idea that Pacquaio was somehow the aggressor when he threw less punches really astounds me.

All fighting styles should certainly be rewarded.

It's incredible. This myth is being thrown around that pacquiao was fighting like Roberto Duran on Saturday night.

Tuf Man contests if they're still around. And why stop with gloves there are bare knuckle contests. If we're going to change the rules, then let's make it where only men get in the ring. No panzy gloves. No panzy divisions. No panzy rounds. If you're a man, fight any man for 36 minutes straight. And winner take all too.

The total number of punches thrown were about even. Floyd had a few more, but it was nearly the same. The difference is that Pac was moving forward and trying to get off first, whereas Floyd was the one moving away from Pacquiao and returning with counter-punching. A counter-puncher is the opposite of the aggressor.

Not like Roberto Duran, not to that extent, he was the aggressor in the sense that generally he was the one moving forward and pushing for there to be action. Pac is known as an aggressive fighter and Floyd is known as a defensive fighter.

So the so called aggressor didn't throw that many punches.

Glad that has been cleared up.

Does anybody think GGG has problems with movement? Why does a #2 P4P, an ATG have problems with fundamentals? I assure you GGG wouldn't be making excuses about movement that's for darn sure.

Floyd escaped the corner by using the same move over and over and over. No adjustments were made by Pacquiao.

All these people whining about Floyd "running" better tell your boy Pac to take lessons from GGG. All of GGG's opponents run from him and he makes them all "good boys".

Your boy Manny was not aggressive because he got tired of getting countered.

Usually the aggressor throws more punches. But someone can still be the aggressor and throw less punches. If that person is moving forward more often and the other guys is moving backwards more often. It's more than just how many punches someone throws. Someone can lay on the ropes all fight and throw 50 more punches, but the other guy can still be considered the aggressor if he doesn't let him off the ropes or something.
