Hopkins is not one of my fav boxers but damn is he refreshing guy clearly cares about his LEGACY over money and avoids the bull**** think about it this guy is 49 years old here is just some of the footnotes in his career:

    1. While that whole HBO/Showtime war was going on the guy cuts to the chase and signs on to fight Kovalev at damn near 50
    2. He constantly breaks his own records
    3. He is no afraid to come in your own backyard (example fighter Pascal in Canada twice)
    4. This guy ducks no one and takes on dangerous fights just take a look who he has fought over the years
    5. I think he is the only man to unify the WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF belts
    6. Never knocked out
    7. Ex-Con learned alot of his technique fighting in prison

His competition he has fought during his career is epic
    Jones Jr (Prime)
    Pavlik (undefeated)
    Pascal (In Canada)
    Calzaghe (undefeated)
Tarver (move up from 160 to 175)
    Johnson (undefeated)
Wright (I admit he was blown up but at the time he hasnt been beaten in a while)
    Taylor (prime)
    Dawson (prime, dangerous fight)
    De La Hoya
    Trinidad (undefeated)
    Joppy
    Cloud (undefeated)
    Eastman

That said whether he wins or lose its hard not to atleast put this guy as a top 20 ATG

Please no. A referee's job is hard enough as it is.
