There needs to be an investigation in to the scoring of Froch vs Kessler!

The ref was a non-factor in this fight, the fight was tough and a brawl, but the fighters fought fair leaving the ref out of it. The only episode that he had an influence on, was when he rightfully ruled it a slip when Kessler was on the canvas.

These robberies threads are so narrowminded and biased! The funny/sad thing is that the same persons who makes these threads have the beliefs that the rest of the world are against them because they are British.

90 percent on this board feel that Kessler rightfully won, that has nothing to do with people disliking Froch or the fact that he is British.

I like Froch but his fans are pretty strange

Froch didint complain after fights , He was sad after fight , didint looks like winner

I'm satisfied with Kessler getting the decision. I would have been as equally satisfied with a draw or Froch getting the nod, it was just one of those fights that didn't have a clear-cut winner and people look for different things when judging fights. If it had been in Nottingham then Froch would have been the winner. Judges are always going to give 'even' rounds to the home fighter which is another reason I think the Froch - Dirrell result was the right one. That and 'running away' is not a legitimate tactic. You have to do more to take away a belt, which Kessler clearly did.

Kessler was never six rounds better than Froch though. Tilleman should never have been allowed near a ring after the Ottke - Reid fight.

 

Terry, you know how the boxing business works and I of course agree with you: Kessler vs Froch was a robbery.

I think just ONE of the cards was bogus....but the fight was close...could have gone either way but I gave the fight to Kessler. I think he won it. They were pretty wide margins, but the right man won.

 

It was a close fight...the scoring was **** but Mikkel deserved the win. I was impressed with Froch and thought he did A LOT better than expected but I don't think he won.
