I know LA has the major "star" appeal, and we know all about Vegas, but this is untapped market that has a strong boxing community. There is boxing gyms from frisco to east/south bay all the way up to the geriatric community in the peninsula. In addition to having large hispanic and black communities, there is a huge a Filipino community. When Pacquaio was here for the giants game, there were just massive, MASSIVE, crowds lined up to see him. And if I am not mistaken, I think the bay area has the biggest filipino community in the U.S. Crowds are always lively, just like they were tonight on FNF, no matter whose fighting in the cards. In addition to that you have local guys lie Donaire and Ward. It's just a shame there hasn't been bigger fights and more fights down here, it really is...
Man, that would be awesome. I live in Sac-to and I'm pretty sure there are a lot of boxing fans here. The russian community is hecka big here and they are really big boxing fans
