The silly thing is a lot of the Commonwealth title fights are fights that could quite easily be for the British title, between two guys that are better than the British champion :patsch

    Sort it out, FFS!

Why has Darren Barker being holding that silly title when he could have beaten Elcock.... other than the fact that they were both under Big Mick?

It was clear Elcock wasn't going further, stick them together and then you know whether Barker has it or not.... but no.

Get rid of the English title
Get rid of the Commonwealth title

The Board of No Control should insist that any British fighter wanting to challenge for a world title should have held the British and European crowns :deal

It used to be that way, at least British title before you could get a world title shot. It would definitely make for some great domestic fights and the British title would get the prestige back that it once had.

I also think that you should be allowed to go for the world title and still hold the British title as well, or at least be mandatory for it in your next fight should you lose.

Then again, would any of these fights happen?

I am sure promoters prefer a crappy 'never been stopped' opponent or some cannon fodder for their losing challenger.
