There should be a press conference for scorecards/judges after the fight.

    Why not?

Bring all the judges to the room and let reporters ask them questions.

Nothing special, no 2 hr explanation or so, just a short little press conference.

If the cards are good and they did the job properly the whole thing might be over in 5 minutes.

Let the press call them out on some iffy cards though.

I'm almost 100% sure that at least a few of those guys would change their "style and pattern to score fights"...and it would be good for boxing if there is a chance to call them out.

Boxing right now is like: Judge scores a fight and looks either stupid or corrupt, one or two weeks later the same judge is scoring a fight again...i mean WTF?

    * not fight, it should be after the EVENT.

All fights should be discussed there.

Agreed.. if they turn in questionable card.. then it is just fair to be questioned.
While it’s not the worst but one judge today turn in a 8-2 decision for Ramirez which I think is questionable, in a drawish type of fight.

I actually like that idea. At least we would then understand the reasoning behind why they scored a fight/round a certain way and anyone with a horrendous scorecard will actually have to justify why they did such a poor job like anyone else who works and messes up.

Because boxing is often corrupt and the elites that run the show will never allow corrupt judges to be held to account by the media.

Can you imagine Adalaide Byrd trying to justify her 118-110 score for Alvarez vs GGG?

Bird needs to be held to account. How she gave Golovkin 2 rounds is beyond me. 120- 108 is how I had it both fights. LOL

They'll find Bigfoot before they allow that to happen. Imagine Byrd having to explain her 118-110 scorecard for Canelo?

"Well from my point of view it looked like Fighter x was controlling the fight"
They will just say nonsense to deflect that they have their cards pre-filled out for the house fighter.

I say start imposing fines for judges who turn in bad score cards. Heck, let them wear a hat with a camera so we can go back to the tape to see "their perspective" and compare it to their score card.
