    If Pacquiao happens to win... he doesn't deserve to get the larger share of the pie..

    what you people cease to understand is that one fighter is more influential in motivating people to buy tickets to the fight, buy ppv's, buy closed circuit seating. First of all it is proven that mayweather is always more influential when it comes to ppv matchup's HE is the reason people pay to watch whether you are paying to see him win or lose. Add that up with the fact that he has a 0 which will also INFLUENCE people to watch the fight and it so happens that Pacquiao is the person who is best suited to dis throne mayweather. The PPV will do astronomical numbers.

    add that up with the fact that as far as selling tickets and ppv's go... mayweather is >>>>>>>>>> pac


    60 floyd... 40 pac.... end of story


    edit:

    win or lose... floyd mayweather will be more responsible for the fight doing well than pacquiao will be

    Come on man give it a rest. Just wait and see how the negotiations go before starting this **** up again. I'm not even sure if there's clear evidence Mayweather asked for 60-40 so don't even start.

    I wonder if there have been fights in history where the purse was split in favor of who won. When you get money involved depending on who wins, funny things happen if you know what I mean.

    Mayweather is the bigger draw, but I don't know if it should be 60-40.

    I'm thinking among the lines of 55-45, or maybe lesser than that.

    I have a problem with this for a completely different reason, lets say this happens. Do you know about the bet Hopkins made to Joppy in their fight that he would KO him, Joppy's corner had the bet not been made would have stopped the fight, instead they let it go even though he was getting his head bashed in and had no chance of winning (similar to the stoppage of Khan-Malignaggi). Now imagine that except this time its a $20 Million 'bet', neither corner would stop it probably even if their guy was on the losing end just in the vain hope that he lands one big shot.
