Martinez was not as hurt as people are making it sound. he never stopped punching and was still dipping punches after he got up.

Martinez was more hurt than Soto-Karras vs Maidana.

Martinez jumped around and danced and bobbed and weaved in and out for eleven ****ing rounds! And against someone probably over 20 pounds heavier than him. He was tired in the 12th round, that's why Jr. got to him. And credit to Jr...he got the **** beat out of him for 11 rounds, waiting for Sexy to get tired, then the moment he saw it, he seized it with everything he had left. What a great fight. Would make a good movie.

i saw the 12th round again and martinez doesnt seem as hurt as i intially thought but by all means chavez being much bigger another good flush right hand could have had him out. i still think martinez won easy and would win a rematch too, martinez would not trade in a rematch and be much more cautious which would be disastrous to jcc jr

"Wasn't almost out"? You're crazy as ****...credit to Martinez on the win, but you're either lying or don't know what the **** youre talking about. He was done, if Junior could have found one more flurry it was over.

Sergio was very hurt and on wobbly legs, anyone that says otherwise is just butt hurt it was Chavez Jr that did it to him. Martinez just had too much heart and a warrior spirit to be denied.
