It was a white guy promoted in James Bond style - tuxedo, bow tie etc He looked the business - until he got in the ring He was put in with a stiff and got smashed up. I think the put he out again with an even softer stiff and got smashed up again What was his name? I cannot find him on google
by the way who was that american super middle/light heavy that lou duva was promoting. white guy who got some airtime on espn and looked the most average looking guy. think he was part native american.
by the way i thought you where talking about matthew ellis. used to come in a tuxedo and ting. and was well promoted for a while. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYYOQyagAzs"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYYOQyagAzs[/ame] it's pretty interesting seeing prospects form years back or even journeymen in thier early careers where they are well promoted. perfect example [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UijNLjwPM_Q"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UijNLjwPM_Q[/ame]
too native american. good punt but hawk is a bit special. edit: Roger "never can tell" Cantrell [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP_iKncv14s[/ame] i know in hindsite it is not a great judge of charecter when he is getting battered by the best 168lber out there but cantrell had been promoted a ton of times on big espns main or submain events for 3 years against wack opposition. with lou duva supporting him all the way. with great trainers and support. you just wonder if that attention and care was given to somebody else could of used it a bit better.
