    So much hate in this thread. I remember everyone gushing about the tournament a year back or so. I thought it was good stuff. And you're wrong that it didn't generate any interest outside the hardcore boxing circles. I've had conversations about S6 fights at work with folks who normally only know when Pac or May fights. I say that's better then nothing.

    Agree with everything, except Ward not being that good of a fighter.

    Before the tournament began, Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell were considered to be two of the best up and coming fighters out there. If they weren't involved in the Super Six tournament, rest assured they would have been Showtime's version of Berto/Broner/Russell Jr etc where they would be shoved down our throats against bums and has beens/never weres and never really forced to step up their level of competition(sorry for the run on sentence).
