He has to fight Cotto. If he does I will give him respect. If he doesn't, it will show he DOESN't take chances and cherry picks. after all, he's the p4p number one right?
I agree... that is the addiction of boxing, and what gets great champions into trouble. If Floyd doesn't have it in his heart anymore, it would serve him right to retire on top, rather than trying to prove himself over and over again... because the long line will never end. It will never be good enough for fans, until he is retired and they can appreciate what he has done. I don't think that he should retire though, as he is clearly at the top of his game right now.
I disagree. The only big fight left for Floyd is Cotto. After that there's no one else for Floyd. Cintron and Williams are not big enough names to be in the ring with Floyd. Floyd should fight Cotto, retire for two years and then see if Cintron and Williams are bigger names.
True. But Cotto really deserves this fight, whereas the others you mentioned do not. Mayweather haters will always shout out that he needs to face this guy and taht guy, in the hope that he will lose. I would be dissapointed if he did not fight Cotto, but after that he can walk away.
