There will be NO EXCUSES for Cotto weight

    From Cotto himself:

    MIGUEL COTTO: When we took this fight we decided that we were fine with 145. We knew we could do it and we knew we would be at our best the next night. We would not have taken this fight if we didn’t think I was going to be at my best the next night after the weigh-in.

    No excuses win or lose. Manny agreed to fight a bigger guy, Cotto agreed to fight a smaller guy at a specific weight-both agreed to see who the best fighter of them is-END OF STORY. There should have been no excuses from ODH either, as he signed/agreed to the weight for the fight. Cotto is a standup guy that is true to his word and isnt going to pull the Floyd BS of coming in bigger and paying a fine when he knows he has a size advantage in the first place. May the best fighter win, cant wait.

    WTF are you talking about, the only one bringing up the weight issue are some Pac fans. From the majority of Cotto fans I can tell you that they wont make any excuses if Cotto loses. We all want to see a good fight and may the best man win.:thumbsup

    If Pacquiao wins I give him all the credit. But I know what Cotto is capable of and I know he will beat Manny Pacquiao November 14th.

    Despite the fact that Boxing is an individual sport, there are almost always excuses. This fight will be no different. No matter who loses, expect excuses to follow.

    None of the Cotto fans are complaining about the catchweight, we've all been saying that Cotto is a true professional who will live up to his promises.

    It's the *******s that keep posting **** from Ariza and other biased sources that Cotto is struggling to make weight and then going on about how it's going to affect Cotto negatively. Then they make out as if Cotto's normal desire for privacy is a sign that he's really scared of the fight.

    Only Pac haters will use Cotto's weight drain as an excuse if he loses - the rest of us are boxing fans who believe in our guy and his ability to make the weight safely.
