Vladimir would have decapitated Seth Mitchell, who cannot box from long range or block a right hand.

I like this, the American explanation from an American perspective as to why they dont have a HW in sight capable of challenging the KLITS.
They still have the highest number of professional boxers in the world, so you do the maths. Do they make americans smaller these days?

So all that is required for the heavyweight division to regain it's luster is for an American to emerge and control it???

  5. Exactly. How many years was it before Lennox and Bruno came around?
On that lineal HW list,it's 99% Americans.

You never know the SMW best fighter is American which was a division ruled almost exclusively by Europeans

It'll happen. Not sure how long it will take, but USA still has the best nutrition and training programs, so hard to think someone won't emerge.

This stuff comes and goes; it's cyclical.

There will definately be an American Champion, its foolish to say otherwise. I also dont buy the NFL, NBA argument, both Basketball and American Football have been arounf a long while, not just the last ten years.

Does anybody know who the American super heavy is for the Olympics?

Being the heavyweight champion is not an obstacle being a great heavyweight is. Titles can be purchased but greatness has to be earned by taking risks in the ring and hard work in the gym. Sacrifice and dedication. Determination and disciplene. All that is missing in today's heavyweights.

There's none around at the moment, even the prospects. But to say ever is a stretch unless the world implodes this year
