Cortez said before the fight, "protect yourself at all times". Ortiz didn't and the rest is history.

Ortiz was getting frustrated because Mayweather was bopping and picking him off at will with the right hand and Ortiz couldn't penetrate Floyd's defence. Through frustration he then headbutted Floyd (which if you watch the fight, when he did have Mayweather near the ropes he was constantly putting his head into his chin, this time was much more deliberate however). So he basically cheap shotted Mayweather then wanted to kiss and make up in a prize fight, at the end of the day he deserved what happened to him.

The whole situation never would have happen if Ortiz hadnt leapt off the mat to deliver a flying headbutt out of frustration. Mayweather did what most people would have done after being intentionaly fouled like that ,he punched that headbutting ***** in his mouth.

    Not gonna argue that.

But Floyd Floyd won in a less than honorable way... a way that "Hero" would never choose to do.

With that said, technically what Floyd did was legal.

Ortiz shoulda never offered an apology, 'cause if he'd done his homework, he'd have known not to offer to tap gloves with Floyd. No boxer, should Floyd fight again, would be wise to tap gloves with Floyd.

Hey, Mayweather embraced him and hugged Ortiz. He could have easily told him to fuk off. Tyson used to push guys, not punch them when their hands were down.
Mayweather is a disgrace who took a cowards way out of the fight. He even admitted he took advantage of Ortiz being defenseless and then freaks out on Larry knowing he was being exposed.
No class, no honor. A fight should never end like that. What Floyd did was legal, ya, but we all know what he was doing and cowards are the ones that take advantage of someone and "kick them when they're down". or in this case, hit them when they're obviously not ready.

Yea and guess what -- Floyd embraced oritz's apology! Or pretended too.
This isn't WWE people, it's supposed to be boxing, not a fukin side show act.
