There's been a lot of criticism about Wilder-Arreola.

But I've got a "funny feeling" about this fight and it's a rather persistent one.

Wilder should be able to have a very impressive showing here.... but you never know. :think

Wilder should give him a shellacking of note. If Wilder struggles with Arreola the trolling will be merciless. Prime Arreola would have been a different story

Being generous (having seen Arreola's last several fights), Wilder should handle this fairly easily. The ingredients are there for another highlight reel KO. But I just won't be able to shake this strange "aura" until that actually happens.

Arreola was picked by Mitchell following the Banks-Mitchell 1 fight. People thought Arreola was "done" then too... and look what happened. To be fair, Cristobal has looked a lot worse than that lately. A lot depends on how he shows up for this Wilder fight following just a 5 week camp. In the past, even giving him 10 weeks didn't yield much when it came to his physical conditioning, so this is primarily a mindset thing.

If Arreola believes he can win, then he could probably make this interesting. Look at his attitude towards Seth Mitchell back then during those press conferences. He told Mitchell "You ****ed up trying to fight me" directly to his face. For Mitchell, Arreola had a strong belief that he was going to win. I'm not sure he has that for Wilder, but if he does, then this "might" get interesting.

When I correctly predict that Arreola will shock the world and stop Wilder, I'm going to take a bong hit and eat a taco.

Arreola himself admitted that he didn't deserve the title shot this time.

"Deserve" often has absolutely nothing to do with getting title shots.

Fighters don't often admit openly that they don't deserve a title shot though... Props to Chris for being honest.
