Mini mike tyson, should still fight Gamboa, Fight Garcia, and just keep fighting prospects or the best opposition available. ARUM could make him into a star but he was to focused on his porterican cake

None of those " fav 4 " like you said did anything remotely close to what Gamboa did as an amateur. Gamboa has one of the best amateur records of all times. Plus, Gamboa's speed, power in both hands and incredible athleticism is more than enough to beat those 4 featherweights. :bart

Gamboa has defeated 3 straight World Champions in Solis, Salido and Barros. Plus, ever since he debuted he has only fought guys with winning records. Keep in mind that Gamboa only has 20 pro fights! :scaredas:

    Boxing is boxing...

More rounds and no headgear but at the end the more skilled guy always wins!

    The Cubans have returned ...

he still hasn't fought a class champion.

Salido has fought juanma AND JMM.

Chris John made JMM go up a division

I think Salido gives Gamboa a few problems.

i think Gamboa should fight Chriss John
but the chance are too slim coz Arum won't let it happen since John is unknown Champion who fought only twice in the USA

if this fight ever happen the possibilities are:
    1. Gamboa win by KO/TKO
    2. Gamboa lost by point
    3. Draw

but I choose the number 2
believe me thats whats gonna happen next

I think he is, all he needs to do is beat Chris John otherwise your cant legitimately say he's the best at the weight ...He's something else I gotta say his speed and punching power produce a holy **** kinda of reaction every time I watch him/

Only Chris John stands in his way at the moment for me , i currently have John #1 , Gamboa #2 ............ but thats debatable , either way these two are the best FW's in the world right now , whether they interchange or not is irrelevant they will have to fight fight for that accolade

Come on man, let's be reasonable. John is too old to deal with a guy like Gamboa. Look what Gamboa did to Solis, and admittedly, Solis had some skills. He could actually box, yet Gamboa disposed of him easily.

Honestly, Gamboa could outbox John or outslug him. Not to mention the fact that John doesn't have the kind of power to really trouble Gamboa who has pretty good defense to begin with.

In my opinion, John is lucky to survive this fight, let alone win it.

Gamboa is a PFP superstar. I don't see how people can't give him his props even now when not only is he dominating his opposition, but the supposed closest thing to him was systematically destroyed by a former Gamboa victim.
