With percentages that high, it's alarming that any Mexican athlete would take the risk and eat the meat anyway. Surely they can get meat imported from elsewhere?

Sounds like they're not happy with the fact that Morales tested positive because they know it could have meant the fight being canceled and they're trying to deny it happened on the basis that he wasn't tested according to their guidelines.

More/stricter testing = bad for business. :yep

I'm sure they could. I'm also sure that many of them are completely ignorant to the fact that farmers illegally give this **** to their animals.

If more boxers had the combination of Morales skills & guts, boxing wouldn`t be such a dead sport.

Morales deserves his dues for the fights he has given boxing, especially now that he is more or less retired, real fans know the next Morales won`t be coming along any time soon so they are giving him his respect as a one-off type fighter.

Honestly, this late in his career, I don't see why its any sort of big deal.

Not like it erases any of his fights for me.

It's still disappointing to see him resorting to a diuretic type drug to make weight.

Agreed. I'm not even a professional athlete, but I keep track of what goes in my body. Considering I also work a fairly stressful job that means I have even less time to do so.
