I was thinking the same thing why **** on any of the atg just raise your favourites fighters name, let them do the work and put themselves where they deserve in the history books

I just find it funny that the name at the top of his list was Glen Johnson for Hops' middleweight run. He calls Ishida a tomato can, yet Glen didn't have a single win at middleweight that was as good as Ishida KO'ing Kirkland.

 

Can I also add that ALL of those wins he listed came AFTER hopkins was 34. So Hopkins was a bum until he was like 35 or 36 then I guess by Nay sayer logic.

Are you high? What about him fighting Calzaghe and Pascal taking on Dawson 2x and facing Kovalev? His wins over Tarver, Tito, Oscar, Pascal, Winky and Pavlik are in another Galaxy when compared to GGG's that's for damn sure.

 

He's a future ATG middle and top 3 H2H at 160 IMO. The only guys I would favor over golovkin at 160 is hagler and Gmann.

 

Never said Hopkins wasn't great he is but you claimed he was daring to be great by fighting Winky, if anything it was Winky who was as you like to say with you're new phrase of the moment daring to be great.

 

Of course Hopkins resume is better, but nobody ducked Hopkins like they ducked golovkin. If golovkin had fought Martinez, quillin, cotto, canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, sturm, lee(all of those guys turned down fights with him), his resume at 160 would be better than Hopkins.
