There's no one great at 160 for GGG to beat, but Hopkins didn't beat anyone either

At 160 I agree but in the defence of Hopkins, he was at least an underdog in a middleweight fight which to no fault of GGG he's not been in that scenario

Using that logic, Alvarez was daring to be great by picking Khan.

GGG, however, is not daring to be great despite targeting Canelo.

How this makes sense is anyone's guess.

Did Hopkins explode into arenas as a 200/1 favorite over his opponents?. No he didn't. It's really no surprise that Golovkin fans suffer from severe mental illness.

The simple FACT of the matter is Glen Johnson made a name for himself and actually accomplished something significant in the sport of boxing. Exactly WHAT has any of the TOMATO CANs that line Bumlovkin's resume ever done?

    N O T H I N G

    Wake me when the Triple Duck comes off of his Bum of the Month tour. Until that time;

Glen Johnson >>> anyone on Bumlovkin's resume

Joppy's resume is better than Macklin's and Lemieux's...

    And how's that Golovkins fault?

The fact of the matter is both Hopkins and Golovkins opposition at 160 have been very similar but Golovkin has been dominating where as Hopkins struggled with the likes of Allen and Mercado.

That's ALL beside the point. The FACT of the matter remains, Glen Johnson is more PROVEN than anyone on Bumlovkin's resume and it aint even close.

Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin ever beaten?

H2H I'd pick both Macklin and Lemieux over Joppy who was a **** poor champion.

It's not beside the point at all.

At 160 Johnson wasn't that good.

    Doesn't matter.

Hopkins fought him as a middleweight. What he did two weight classes higher, years later, means nothing.

The version Hopkins fought was less proven than Nobu friggin' Ishida. The man you've labeled a tomato can. What that makes Johnson, by your standards, is something less than that. A can of creamed eels? Wadded Beef? And that's the name you run to to defend Hopkins' middleweight resume.

    Deal with it.

Macklin and Lemieux are both garbage fighters who have never accomplished anything of note - as are the other TOMATO CANs that line Bumlovkin's resume. Wake me when they beat somebody worth mentioning...
