I was there, and the Puerto Ricans sure as hell weren't cheering for Mosley. There actually WERE people in the crowd who weren't Puerto Rican.

lol, what a bunch of ******s that don't want to accept the truth, let's see:

Willy Wise beat Julio Cesar Chavez.
    Brian Mcbride beat Mike Tyson.
    David Diaz beat Erik Morales.
    Ricky Hatton beat Kotsya Tszyu.
    Hasim Rahman beat Lennox Lewis.
    Lamon Brewster beat Wladimir Klitschko.

So the final word is that they are the better fighters?, are u ****ing ******ed or what?, Mosley is a legend and he's recognized as the best welter today, Cotto's a good fighter, but years away from Mosley's accomplishments, so stop the crap ladies, a win over Mosley would be a lot bigger for Pacquiao's resume than a victory over Cotto. PERIOD.

So you want to take what Mosley did in 2000 into account? Last 5 fights, Cotto has the better resume. Last 10 fights, Cotto has the better resume. Cotto is the bigger draw. They're both right next to each other on the pound for pound ratings.

Is Mosley more dangerous to Pacquiao specifically? Probably, but it would have been a dumb business move to pick Mosley over Cotto. A Cotto fight makes more money overall than a Mosley fight, and a Cotto win does more to help his future popularity than a Mosley win.

Clearly i did you idiot as i said by a whisker !!!!!!!!! , so i will repeat only by a whisker , go and read the Ring Magazine WW rankings , Mosley destroyed a fighter who broke Cotto down into peices and only narrowly lost to Cotto himself !!!!!!!!!!

Were you also thinking about Margo beating up Cotto and then Mosley beating up Margo to the pulp?

In this light Cotto having close fight with Mosley speak in Mosley's favor.

Pacquiao doesn't make the decisions; Uncle Bob lines everything up and he just ticks the box. Bob Arum is terrified of Mosley, if you want to put it that way.
