There's no super fights in boxing anymore

If both had been more active it would p4obably be a super fight. It is talent wise.

 

Been playing fight night on PS3 again?

 

Was the last super fight Bivol Vs. Beterbiev 1?
Kabayel Vs. Usyk could change things, especially if Usyk loses.
That fight would "save boxing".

 

But it'll never happen

 

Canelo got a ton of passes bc he moved on, stepped up. Lost to Floyd, went on to Cotto and GGG. Lost to GGG, ran it back, dominated Smith and BJS. Fans like that.

Jermell lost to Tony H, ran it back, kept stepping up. Fans like that.

Add in Loma, add in Tszyu whose going to take on tough comp next even though he shouldn't, but hes a real fighter so he will.

 

I think the big problem is that a lot of fighters want to make a lot of money with very little risk. Like another poster mentioned, they protect that 0 by ducking certain fighters, or fight only two times a year. There is no way you can build a following that way. Unless you hype yourself doing stupid stuff, and to me, that's a big turnoff.

 

Almost all the talents at 154 the next few years should have plenty of big fights they aren't really avoidable. MW's awful but a lot of these 154's will naturally move up so MW will have a lot of exciting fights. Bivol kinda of ruined it and Beterbiev's probably done but at LHW you have the "three B's".

So far as people caring you've got to build up non established names to have super fights. It takes years. Even the baby Canelo who fought Floyd was 42-0 with a bunch of title defenses. At some point HW's got to move on from Usyk, AJ, Fury and Wilder.
