There's nothing wrong with taking Losses. I took a loss today in the gym.

    Nah., I'm on the down slope. I have been boxing since 15 when Kronk gym was still on the west side of Detroit and I could walk down Buchanan St. to it or take the crosstown bus. I used to have to fight neighborhood kids just to get to and from that gym. I stopped during my time in the Navy and was still fighting technically and since I've been hitched not so much.
    I'm in my mid 30s and it ain't getting no better because I've gained weight. So now I'm looking like James Toney without the supreme defense at heavyweight and these big ass teenagers and 20 something guys are all hyped up and they can fight and train for hours and go party and **** and I can only go home and whine to you guys about why these dudes are whupping my ass. Today was a scary day and I'm not afraid to say that now I know how these guys felt when your body knows before your brain knows that you are hurt and then you dance...
