I think he has a better than 50-50 chance of beating each of them in isolation, but a less than 50-50 chance of beating all three.
Tony Tucker would be a clear one sided win for Liston. Byrd has some stylistic traits to give Liston a tough fight, but Liston eventually breaks him down. I'd have Liston favored 55/45 against Dusseldorf Fury
I think Tucker might be the best of the 3 here. Prime versions, correct? Size, power, chin and a style that proved troublesome to Liston. I see a prime Tony TNT Tucker as a live dog that could be the favorite here. Byrd would be slick and Fury a big problem as well. They could all spring upsets but in order of difficult tasks it would be Tucker, Byrd then Fury.
Yep ,prime Version s for all .Not sure where to rate Fury s prime though TBH.When he beat Wlad I reckon at the moment ,or against Wilder ?
He'd decision Tucker and eventually find and finish Byrd. His jab would offset Byrd enough. He'd beat Fury by decision or later stoppage for mine. He'd chug forward after him behind the long left hand and has two handed power and a lot more variety than Wilder. He also doesn't telegraph his big punches. It would be an awkward fight tho as Fury is a big man with reasonable skills.
