If THAT is your opinion, you should keep it to yourself. It's like asking someone to eat a pile of steaming **** and to accept it. Or, some advice for you....talk about your opinions of a subject that you actually know, on a website that caters to what you know, because EVERY single poster that replied to you here will agree 100%. While many here have dedicated their lives to boxing....eat, drink, live, sleep boxing...or at LEAST have been keen observers for many years, you just trod along with your novice opinion, and even worse, start a whole thread about it. It's not us, it's you.

actually most of what i said is correct... some people are just too biased to accept it.

wlad IS boring. bring any objective sports fan to wlad's last few fights and they'll say something like "why is that big guy just jabbing and hugging?"

pavlik DOES make up dumb excuses. vitali DID test positive for steroids and quit in a match. shane mosley DID admit to using PEDs... but for some reason people still love him even though he's an admitted cheater.

by contrast, guys like manny pacquiao and nonito donaire are what boxing is all about. they never run, always come to fight, and are exciting fighters who always let their hands go.

The last time Wlad clinched excessively was the Peter fight, many moons ago. He didn't clinch against Chagaev, Ibragimov, Thompson, Rahman, etc.

The reason for the clinching against Peter was obvious to anyone who's a real fan of the sport, Peter was very limited and he came barreling in swinging for the lucky punch. It just pissed you off because it worked. :deal

And Pavlik fights at 160 and 175, so I'm not buying that one.

You don't fully understand boxing if you think Wladimir Klitschko is boring. He definitely used to be more entertaining in his earlier days, and now fights with more caution, but his style has become an example of what defines the sweet science. Your Filipino fighters are a very tiny portion of the boxing spectrum. Both are great and I'm hoping for many bigger things to come for Donaire (he's local), but they are one of MANY styles that make up boxing. If you want to make a list of guys that are bad for boxing, use guys like Margarito or that ******* that murdered Max Kellerman's brother for examples. The list is just going to **** people off if it's based on your opinions of styles, which is due to your own biases and lack of understanding of the entire sport.
