Jermain Taylor is not a deserving hall of famer. just like I said in my thread. but Taylor WILL BE in the hall of fame cause he beat Hopkins twice. and thats whats wrong with boxing. btw does it still hurt now? Tarver knocked him out badly, I know. the pain must be hard for you

bottom line is this: you love Roy Jones, you wear Roy Jones underwear and you think about him when you jerk off in your momma's basement.
now you see this thread and you dont have the boxing knowledge to discuss with me so you troll around and start the name calling. That doesnt bother me, I just wanted to post the truth about Roy Jones in this thread and I knew fanboys like yourself will try to make the truth look ridiculous. Just gives me a good laugh you ****** :D

does he mean world title fights??? bc more than half of the peeps on that list were not champs. Bhop and jones fought for a vacant title.... eric lucas was a challenger. Trinidad was not a champ when jones fought him wtf.....

no. its about opponents who held a world title at one point in their career. Some Roy Jones superfan made a thread in which he said "Roy Jones beat 18 World Champs". Actually he didnt do that. But he beat 18 guys who held a title at one point in their career and thats what he meant

Toney and Hopkins were the best possible guys he could've fought and he beat them near or in their primes clearly with no question. There's actually "HOF'ers" with much worse resumes but no lets all pick on Jones because he was seen as unbeatable in his prime lol.

In all honesty this guy isnt trolling, theres a lot of truth in this post but all the RJJ lovers wont admit it. the TS was actually quite unbiased

Roy Jones was a lot like Mike Tyson, extremely athletic but never fought many great fighters in their prime.

With names like Eubank, Benn, Collins, Calzaghe, Hopkins rematch, Micahelzweski etc. floating about Jones pretty much took an easy road on route to challenging a weak HW in John Ruiz and was even looking to fight past prime holyfield and tyson

I like Roy Jones but he is pretty much one of the most over rated boxers there are, He beat Toney yes (who himself is over rated so dont get me started) and of course the Hopkins win is the one that stands out but that was a pretty close fight itself where both fighters were green

I think even Tommy Hearns called Roy Jones out at some point
