    Guys like Winky Wright, Marlon Starling, and Andriy Kotelnik knew how to use that high guard shell the right way. What Narvaez did was just terrible.

    make that 3x stronger
    5 in reach disadvantage - no 1 reason why fight was a bore
    30 lbs heavier on fight night also

    Narvaez composure was pretty damn impressive. He's a smart, savvy veteran. If it had been any other person in there looking like a midget they would've been slaughtered or they would've ran. Narvaez even pressed forward at times.

    Trick is getting the balance between going into the shell and exploding out of it at regular intervals. Winky at his best is a great example of this.


    Actually Clottey vs Judah was also a pretty good example of this.
