I agree. I wouldn't trust Hearn as far as I could throw him. Making out they were under pressure to face the WBA mandatory or be striped when they know full well the WBA will forgo a mandatory for a unification. It sounds to me like they want another big payday before they risk Wilder. They knocked back 50 mil to fight in the US because they thought they would get shafted by the US judges. It's a 50/50 fight but I lean towards Wilder koing AJ. AJ has been a more cautious fighter since he got dropped by WK. Wilder was sick for a week before he fought Ortiz and came in at only 214. Ortiz was a tricky southpaw who took away DW's jab and gave him a lot of trouble before he got stopped and Hearn knows better than to use that fight as a measuring stick. I say it's Hearn and AJ doing the running but not to worry the fight will still be made. Just a little later.

This fight was always going to sit on the boil and simmer a bit longer

Once AJ beats wilder there’s not much else out there. Miller, whyte rematch, usyk?

They’d be mad to cash in on this one just yet, there is more money to be made

    Timelines of this farce-

    1. Hearn Turns down 50 million USD offer
    2. Makes counter offer of 15 million GBP flat to Deontay.
    3. Deontay accepts.
    4. But as they Refuse to include location and date in contract, they cannot sign it.
    5. When asked for this Hearn says April 2019 *****. After we fight Povetkin.

    That’s the end.

Hearn pulled the same BS when he lost the purse bid to Pulev for the Whyte fight. The contract was ready to sign in Bulgaria and Hearn just dicked them around- and then threw the contract in the bin.

I know the Hearn schlong smokers will deny this.

    The Bronze Bummer.

Never have we seen a champ with zero losses and 40 odd wins fight such poor comp.

    NEVER!!!

    NEVER i say!!!!!

Everywhere Wilder goes boxing fans should egg him really
badly. I mean so badly that they have to take him to a body of water to wash him off and give him new clothes. Do that a few times and he would get the message. Have him scared not knowing where or how fast the next egg was coming. Basically give him his home as a safe area but anytime he steps foot off his property egg the living crap out of him. Hey i cant do it myself as i'm forbidden from throwing eggs in the state of Alabama but that shouldnt stop you.

He didn’t sign the contract because there was no date and no venue included.

When asked for a date and venue Hearn responded to say April 2019 after we beat Povetkin.

Would you expect Deontay to sign a contract with no venue and No date?

Hearn doesn’t want the fight and all of the Hearn schlong worshippers can’t accept it, as they believe everything Hearn says. I am embarrassed for them.

So are you saying Wilder then turned down the April 2019 date you claim Hearn responded with?

I’ve been to an aj fight I am a fan of his but how anyone who say’s aj and matchroom wanted this fight is just chatting ****. It’s like the whole thing of hearn saying well we’re under time constraints but yet he look a long while to send out that contract and for anyone who says well it takes long while to write up a contract like that go back and find one of hearn’s interviews when they got offered the 50 mill hearn stated multiple times that he could write up a contract within 24 hours so it’s just more bull****.

And that pretty much clarifies what we already know about Hearn and Wilder. Hearn the snake that he is never wanted this fight next, he's always talked about building the fight but with the pressure from the media and Joshua to make it next he had to act, especially with his contract with Joshua ending during this time. Hearn has used this whole circus act to do exactly what he always wanted and built the interest in this fight, Hearn might be a snake but he's a smart one.

Wilder on the other hand, despite jumping through hoops to seemingly make the fight is also being far from transparent in regards to what he really wants. He could simply sign the April 2019 date, or agree it verbally until a new contract is received. But he hasn't he's called a duck, all the while knowing that Breazeale has been penciled in for an interim fight this summer and likely been training for it already.

Hearn never wanted it next, Wilder and Haymon never wanted it next. Joshua seems to want it next but that might just be Hearn spinning it and making himself seem like the one blocking the fight to make Joshua look good, we can't trust anything anyone says about this fight, all of them have their own agendas and I'm sick of it.

If this BS keeps going on much longer I'll just lose interest like I did with Mayweather/Pac and won't pay to watch the fight.

Which fighter historically has shown that he wants to fight other champions and unify titles?

    Which fighter has not?

Okay.... I'm late, fellas (and just now catching up). But here's what I'd like to know:

Has there been a reason provided yet regarding why Wilder didn't sign the contract?

I am fuzzy on that part too, lol

Someone above said it is because no date and venue were provided but that same fella then said Hearn said April of 2019 after Pov?? So what is the reason for not signing? Wilder didnt want to wait so long and didnt want AJ to fight Pov first?

As far as the venue Wilder agreed on the UK from what i know so that should not be a problem.

First of all: what the hell is Brendon Schaub playing at, he shouldn't even be putting his nose into this nonsense. We can't trust some MMA guy who knows nothing about boxing, and certainly isn't a proper journalist.

Secondly, there's a few things that prove that Wilder is quite obviously ducking.

    1. Whyte-Parker was agreed in 48 hours. This has taken 3 months and a contract has not been signed yet. Shows that Eddie means business and always takes risks, Al and Showtime don't. Whyte-Parker, for me, is the most obvious sign of all that Deontay is ducking AJ.

    2. Wilder clearly weathered the storm and waited until the inevitable WBA forced AJ to fight Povetkin. It is clear and obvious that was Wilder's tactics.

    3. Joshua hasn't said a word on social media about this whatsoever. You could tell in the interview on Sky Sports a few weeks back that he was fuming. He is hiding anger back and stopping himself from saying stuff on social media. If AJ was ducking, he'd be trying to prove he wasn't by responding to Deontay. But even when Deontay is trying to bait a response, he can't get one. AJ isn't interested in talk, just interested in getting the fight signed.

    4. Wilder doesn't stop talking. He is trying to drill his thoughts into people's heads, brainwashing them and forcing them to think that his side mean business and not AJ's. We don't see AJ doing that now, do we? When someone keeps talking, they are trying to correct an imbalance. He knew that if he didn't talk about this, everyone would think he was ducking, 100%. If Joshua was ducking, he'd hide it and he wouldn't stop chatting on social media about it, trying to prove himself. But he isn't doing that, he is just keeping quiet.
