Lol why do the majority not see this, either they in it together, hyping it up or as you say they both as bad as each other..
I really dislike Wilder though if only for his comments about wanting on a dead body on his record and with his resume I’m amazed it hasn’t happened.

    Wait....Hold on.......

    Finkel asked for a contract?
Then after looking over the contract, he asked for a Wembley date? (Hearn gave him one in April 2019).

Didn't he claim like 6 months ago......
'this isn't how boxing fights are made!'
'You don't send a contract before agreeing to the terms!'

    Wake up!

Hearn was trying to arrange this months ago...asking for a contract and a venue/date.
That was when he discovered there was already a venue booked for Wilder v Breazeale.

Now Team Wilder is trying to use Povetkin fight as 'evidence' of ducking, despite being the ones who are delaying.

This was Wilders one big money fight

Now I look to see Joshua get beaten by Povetkin, and the potential big money fight for Wilder will be gone

I can't recall a champion issuing more offensive statements in the history of social media. Wilder has lowered and exposed himself as an extremely ignorant and vile communicator . To each his own.

Since April Matchroom have officially put in a request to the WBA for a 1 week extension on 6 consecutive occasions while trying to get the Wilder/Joshua fight contracted. The WBA, recognising the significance of Wilder/Joshua, have been happy for the most part to delay their mandatory in favour of an undisputed contest. However after approaching 3 months Finkel has delayed once again and the WBA, who also have to be fair to Povetkin, have run out of patience.

Wilders team (Finkel) have had a contract for nearly 2 weeks, after 1 week they’d agreed everything with the exception of the date but they know it will definitely be Joshua’s next fight sometime in October at Wembley, so no big drama there yet they still haven’t signed the contract and Finkel has delayed talking further for another 6 days, WTF and WHY?

Of course Finkel always knew that eventually the WBA would order Joshua to fight their mandatory and he would risk being stripped of their belt if he didn’t sign a contract with Povetkin. That’s what he’s been delaying and waiting for because now he can fill Wilders head with notions of Joshua not wanting to fight him.

    I don’t think it’s Wilder who’s delaying, I 100% believe that he’s a fighter and genuinely wants the fight!

I can only surmise that Finkel doesn’t want Wilder to fight Joshua because he, Finkel himself, wants to retain some relevancy in World boxing. It’s not about the money for Finkel it’s about him, his ego and his control of a World Heavyweight Champion, something unavailable to him before in his career due to bigger sharks like Don King dominating control of the last US based Champions.

Wilders team have now missed the chance to secure a Joshua fight for this year however,
Hearn has sent Wilder an extension of the current offer with a date to fight Anthony Joshua at Wembley on April 13th 2019 for a guaranteed $15Million and a share of US PPV.

He has also offered Wilder $5Million to fight in the US at a venue of his own choice against an opponent of his own choice later this year so that Wilder can stay busy and earn 3X his normal purse.

He has also agreed to a rematch in the US if Wilder wins the first fight with Joshua, that rematch fight could earn Wilder $30 to $40 Million taking his potential earnings for the next 3 fights to somewhere around $60 or $70Million!

Think about that for a few seconds, Wilder after 41 fights still only earns around $1.5 Million per fight yet this contract guarantees a minimum of $20 Million plus a share of US PPV for the first Joshua fight which is probably worth $7 to $10 Million more. Plus it could lead to a rematch worth $40 Million that a 3 fight deal worth $70 Million

    Why hasn’t he signed it!!!
