    I was sparring for fun at home with some kid which weight 10-15 kgs less than me.

    And got caught in the head with a 8 oz. gloves.

    I had like headache for 2-3 days.


    Imagine all the punishment these warriors go trough in the ring and sparring.



    Although i love boxing, i wouldnt mind it if it does get banned or get some more safety rules.

    Thats what you get for using 8 oz gloves use 12/14 oz and anyway boxers are punch resistent to an extent kid

    I dont have to justify myself to you.

    But if some changes that happen than could save a life or 2. then i do wouldnt mind it.

    If you think it needs more safety rules, stick to amateur boxing. It's not like they're going to limit how many punches to the face you can take.

    Okay. Lemme rephrase. if you wouldn't mind, what would you possibly suggest?

    Historically, boxing gloves actually lead to a lot more head injuries. Old timey boxers who did it bare knuckle used to strike the body more than the head so they didn't break their hands.

    You're ******ed for telling everyone that you got hit in the head, probably concussed with 8oz gloves, then go on to cry for more safety or since you wouldn't mind either way ban boxing altogether.

    Whose the moron for using 8oz gloves? What does your using 8oz gloves have to do with boxing in general? Blame boxing for you dumbass getting hit in the head with 8oz gloves??
