Sure at age 39 and 40! Five years younger Wlad whips them. Who had Fury or Joshua beaten since?

Usyk would be their best title opponent.

Healthy 100% Bermane Stiverne was being soundly outboxed by a semi-shot 40 y/o Ray Austin for the majority of the fight prior to his gas tanks depleting and getting clipped. So if a shot slow as molasses 40 y/0 Austin can outbox Stiverne for the vast majority of the fight then I don't see what's so special about a young and healthy Bum Squad doing it for a whole fight to Bermane ''B-Sick'' Stiverne who was suffering from dehydration and who has cement feet and can't avoid a right hand to save his life ie. absolutely tailor-made for Bum Squad.

Remember when people used to level the accusation at Povetkin that he always struggled against tall fighters even though his record against them is actually very impressive sans Wlad and AJ, the first of whom cheated like crazy against him and the later of whom fought him when he was 39 and way past his best. Why isn't that same criticism levelled at Stiverne?

    Ray Austin 6'6''
    Joe Joyce 6'6''
    Bum Squad 6'7'' x 2

That's it when it comes to big men (6'4'' and over) *the heights of some of his opponent's aren't listed, mostly ones he fought during the early stage of his career and that doesn't matter because they were all tomato cans*

So Bum Squad beat him twice

    Joyce stopped him

And 40 y/o semi-shot Austin was outboxing him for most of the fight.

    Hmm..

Stiverne shares something else in common with Old Man River Ortiz other than being a Bum Squad opponent. He has cement feet and he can't avoid a right hand to save his life.

Watch what happens when it dawns on Povernov that Ortiz's head is a magnet for right hands. Povernov can't miss with the right.

The Ortiz of today's head is still a magnet for right hands

Hammer was lighting him up with right hands all night

So Bum Squad's 2 best wins (and he's only fought 3 world class opponents in total) were against opponents who were tailor-made for him stylistically: Cement feet and can't avoid a right hand to save their lives lol

Debatable. Fury and Joshua also happen to be the two best guys Wlad ever fought. Fury beats any version of Wlad in my opinion, Joshua is 50-50.

Oleksandr Usyk weighed more at 215lbs than Deontay Wilder did against Tyson Fury and Luis Ortiz.

It's not like Deontay Wilder has had much issue facing guys who were cruiserweight before, because he has done that countless times. I suspect that he (or his team) will pull as many excuses as possible not to box Oleksandr Usyk.

Does a younger Muhammad Ali lose to a Leon Spinks? Is Spinks a better fighter than Ali because he beat him?

Does the version of Joe Louis who lost to Rocky Marciano compare to the version of himself in his late twenties?

Of course age matters. Very few guys have been able to sustain or improve into their late thirties.

I cant see Vlad losing to Joshua or Fury three to five years earlier. He was a sharper, quicker fighter at that point.

I just dont rate Fury that highly. Vlad looked geriatric in their title fight. Fury's major accomplishment was managing to run away for 12 rounds while flicking the occasional jab.

I would be interested to hear your reasons for each of these, if you don't mind sharing.

    Sure.

Byrd definitely has the résumé, he's also a 50-50 with Joshua imo.

Peter and Haye both beat Joshua imo. Too much power and chin with both having height disadvantages that give them very real advantages on the inside.

In terms of accomplishments none of those guys are close, and Joshua would beat all of them.

No, I'm also questioning what advantage there is to being 40 pounds overweight on an average HW frame. Even if he wanted to he'd find it difficult to lean on his opponents because he lacks the height to impose that weight on them. As for aiding him in the clinch, what short fat HWs are great clinchers?

Rustico Torrecampo holds a VICIOUS KO victory over Pacquiao early in his career.

See how easy that is? :)

I already mentioned that Fury is one of the few HWs who utilises his height and reach the way he should.
