    With Bleach blond hair and a white fur coat, The buffalo is back. With a new three fight deal in Germany and coming off a pretty good win the Buffalo is roaming once more. Thought once only to be spotted in mythical lands like K1 and MMA he is now to give it one more shot!

    It seems i am either too impatient or Botha fans are few and far between but it seems muted in here. Not that it matters a small band of followers is all we need! A couple of big fights and hopefully wins on his new three fight contract. And on his way to one more title shot we may have some more interest?

    Sadly very few and far between. Like I said, we might have gotten more feedback right after his win over Hoffman, but this will have to do. Maybe we will pick up more fans as time goes by. Any word on future opponents?

    I would love to see Botha do something in the division but I just don't see it happening. The win over Hoffmann was solid but, at the same time, nothing to get excited over as the German fighter had become nothing more than a gatekeeper who blocks punches with his chin. I'm happy to see that Botha has taken the Lamon Brewster route of trying to kickstart his flagging career by signing a contract in Germany. At least this way he'll be able to stay active and find himself in a semi-meaningful fight somewhere down the line. Right now he's fighting on the fringes of the division and the best he could hope for would be to ascend the rankings on activity alone. If I were Botha I'd be begging my promoter for a chance to fight a guy like Krasniqi who, despite being totally shot, still has name value though it looks like Dimitrenko will get that fight.

    Botha sells tickets and brings TV quote in Germany. So it's clever to contract him. Botha is fun to watch inside and outside of the ring. A real entertainer who definitely can box, comes to fight, and has a big heart.

    But he must diet and take the road work seriously otherwise he will end as a Butterbean twin clown.

    This fight was going to happen but Danny Williams was roughed up and stopped brutally by some Pole. Botha got lucky Williams was knocked out.

    I think botha needs another fight like the hoffman one to get him back to speed. He is now getting back to some kind of fitness and and is blowing away the ring rust. Then he should ask the promoter for a bigger shot with the brewsters or the Krasniqis of this world. But he has got some good options now. I read that he will be fighting again in october. But an opponent yet to be announced.
