Sadly, I can't find the fight anywhere, but I hope to see it soon. I hope that Botha makes a speedy hand recovery.

I watched the fight.The transmission staretd with way to much pre figt that I didn't understand(it was in German) and Axel Schulz was definetely very jolly.LOL at Botha saying in a pre fight interview ''I want any of the Klitschko sisters''-guess he forgot he already lost to Wlad when he was younger and in better shape.
Botha's ring walk was awesoem,coming out on that motorcycle.
About the fight-it was pretty boring in a typical old Botha type fight with very close rounds.I was looking very carefully in the first t ose a grimase of pain or something when Botha hurt his hand but didn't see it.
Botha starte the fgiht a lot more offensive than I thought he would and maybe than it was better for him.Many of the first 6 rounds were so close because they both alternated the offensive with the defensive in a give and take way.Carrion defintely fought in spurts in those rounds,Botha was the more trickier figter,trying to do his thing with the counterpunching with the right hand but indeed he did try more to lead especially with the right straight.The fight was pretty even after 6 with plenty of fouls from Carrion for which he got penalised in te 7th.
In the second part of the fight Botha slowed down and Carrion was turning things up hitting him with clean crisp overhand rights up from close and then clinching.With the rounds being as close as they were 3 right hands on Botha on the ropes not giving anything back and it was enough to win them.Thought Carrion definetely did enough in the second half of the fight to pull out the win and Botha was very lucky to get the draw.
Note that the tape I watched was stopping mid rounds for even a minute at times so I lsot some of the action in some rounds and that was very annoying.

All in all it ws a good year for Botha with 3 fights and he lost a lot of weight from his 268,5 lbs he carried with Guerrero in february.He acknowledged after the fight ''Carrion is very awkward and that considering his level of opposition he's fought along hi career he's not a bad fighter but he ain't a good fighter either''.
Hopefully he heals up and comes back bette nex year.

Yeah sure I think Botha can bounce back.I maintain my opinion that after he found out Fischer pulled out he stopped training seriously.Plus you gotta take into consideration he hurt his right hand which is basically his game.
Next year he has plenty of options in the zone:Hoffmann rematch,Fischer,maybe Krasniqi if h continues to fight after he will lose to Dimitrenko again.
